Cuisine, space, and presentation—
Ginza Wakaya embodies Wakaya’s “present moment.”
What we offer is a new style of Chinese cuisine
inspired by the theme of “tradition and creativity.”
Based on Shanghai cuisine, which represents the chef’s roots,
we create new dishes every day using seasonal ingredients
sourced from across Japan.

  • Reservations up to two months in advance open on the 1st of every month at 11:00.
  • We will call you to confirm your reservation by the day before. If we cannot reach you, your reservation may be canceled.
  • For counter reservations, all guests start at the same time. Please contact us if you will be late. If you arrive late, your meal may begin partway through.
  • Private room reservation times may be adjustable. Please contact us by phone.
  • Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances such as perfume.
  • Children of junior high school age or younger are not permitted (except for private room use or full counter rental).

Cancellation Policy

Rules for Cancellations and Reducing Number of Guests

– Reservations for 1–5 guests

3 days before to the day before your reservation: 50% of the meal price
Same day: 100% of the meal price

– Reservations for 6 or more guests

6 days before to 2 days before: 50% of the meal price
Day before to same day: 100% of the meal price

* Cancellations, reductions in party size, and reservation time changes are accepted by phone only. Depending on the reservation status on the day, changes may not be possible.

Piaoliang is a members-only salon at Ginza Wakaya where you can enjoy the finest Chinese cuisine.
“Piaoliang” is a Chinese adjective meaning “beautiful,” describing the way silk underwater reflects light.
